Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the short film "Game Over," crafted by talented young filmmakers during our one-week Kid's Film School Summer Camp! Over just five days, these amazing kids learned about story structure, cinematography, and directing, while putting their skills to the test as they actually created a real movie. Watch as they navigate brainstorming sessions, tackle challenges, and make it all work within a crazy tight schedule. From script to screen, see how they transformed their ideas into a finished film, gaining valuable skills along the way. We're excited to share that "Game Over" has already been selected for an international film festival! Stay tuned as we’ll be sharing the completed short film soon. The Kid's Film School Summer Camp was sponsored but a few community members and partnerships and run by Stephen and Cameron Pickering of Drywater Productions. This was a long week, but working with students has been a passion of Stephen and Cameron since the start of the Drywater. Game Over was written, developed, shot, acted, directed, and partially edited by students, grades 3-8, who participated in the Summer Student Film Camp 2024 led by Stephen and Cameron Pickering of Drywater Productions and hosted by the Janesville Performing Arts Center and Macy Ryan.
